Henry Martinez is a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with over 30 years of experience in healthcare. Originally from Cuba, Henry practiced as a family physician before relocating to Miami, Florida, in 1995. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds active licenses to practice in both Florida and Texas.

Henry has extensive expertise in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, having dedicated over 15 years to the specialty. Since joining Asthma and Allergy Associates of Florida in 2008, he has been an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

In addition to his specialization, Henry has a background in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine, where he cultivated a compassionate and comprehensive approach to diagnosing and managing complex medical conditions.

Henry chose to practice medicine because he believes there is no greater happiness than helping someone overcome medical challenges. This deeply held belief drives his approach to patient care, as he seeks to address not only the physical but also the emotional needs of those he serves.

As a strong man of faith, Henry is dedicated to giving back to his community. He currently collaborates with local churches and clinics to provide care to underprivileged families living in the Tyler area. His experiences as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather further enhance his ability to connect with and care for patients from all walks of life.

Henry has always appreciated the beauty of nature and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking – making East Texas a perfect fit for him. In his free time, he pursues his passions for fitness and history, while also cherishing moments with his wife, Yerenis, their five children, and three grandchildren.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Henry provides culturally sensitive care, ensuring every patient feels understood and valued. He is deeply committed to improving the lives of those he serves, helping them achieve better health and quality of life.
